Discovery’s Vaccination Initiative.
Discovery has been heavily involved in making the COVID-19 vaccine available and accessible to all South Africans. As part of their vaccine initiative, they wanted to create a piece of communication that acknowledged the difficulties that South Africans have faced in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and inspired them to believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that through vaccination, we can rise once again, as a nation.
Challenge
The challenge was to take the sensitive nature of the content and deliver it from a perspective that was both empathetic and poetically inspiring.
Solution
We created a piece of film that not only delivered the hope and inspiration that South Africans needed at one of our most daunting times – vaccination rollout – but delivered it through the perspective of comfort that Discovery as a company and brand brings to South Africa through their presence in the market. In addition, we build great brand equity for Discovery in the hearts and minds of all South Africans.
